Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Brooch with 0.2ct Old Mine Cut Diamond and removable glass panel

A stunning and rare antique Victorian 18ct gold brooch with old mine cut diamond.

METAL/HALLMARKS ~ the brooch has been tested as 18ct gold.

DETAILS ~ the brooch contains a high quality old mine cut diamond, measuring approx 0.2ct. The brooch features a glass back panel which is in excellent condition, and a safety pin chain. Overall the brooch measures 38mm x 30mm, and weighs 11.5g. Without the glass panel the weight is 9.2g. There are some minor splits in the gold these can be seen in the last 2 photos.
